A vintage black and white photograph shows an intimate moment between a couple during what appears to be a wedding celebration.

"It was supposed to be a perfect winter wedding day; one of those flawless occasions where I, the bride-to-be, would be enjoying relaxed bridal preparations in a local hotel whilst robed in a dressing gown, fluffy slippers and sipping a glass of white wine, Instead, the day began with a broken hotel shower; shoes that proved too large; no breakfast in the hotel (chef had flu); train strike; and snow chaos. When my makeup lady called from her car, already half an hour late, stuck in a traffic jam with no let-up in sight, I started crying. Eleven months of meticulous preparation seemed to evaporate in a matter of seconds. That is the moment the magic call came in.

On the other side of the phone, I could hear our wedding photographer Prisha Tiwari’s calm and soothing voice: “Don’t worry, lovely – I won’t let the train strike hold me back, and I will definitely be there. In fact, I am bringing a second photographer along, and we will be renting a car to ensure we will make it, and in good time, too.”

Like a magic wand, Prisha’s phone call seemed to transform the day. The makeup lady miraculously arrived; the bridal flowers were delivered; a pair of in-soles for my shoes magically appeared; and the dress thankfully fitted.

But most of all: the photographs of a day that started in bedlam and turned into one of delight, were – literally – breathtaking! Prisha had captured our wedding just the way we wanted: from candid, spontaneous moments to moving, romantic touches – in flickering candlelight and with the winter’s last snow, adding black & white options to our wedding portfolio to embody a day of sheer beauty.

And Prisha did what she promised to do: she managed to capture our first kiss as married couple, discreetly peering out behind the Reverend’s robe in a Houdini-like way. Prisha is a true artist, with an eye for unique angles, reflections, imagery, shades, and perspectives. Our collection of photos could be freely and without extra charge be shared with all our guests through electronic albums, which is a testament to Prisha’s understanding of the importance to share memories of a very special day with family, friends and loved ones. We can truly recommend Prisha for any wedding, special events, or personal photo session. She is simply the very best at her craft. - Anna Markham"

"You have, Prisha, something that can’t be learned or taught. Something innate to you. A sensitivity to the space, the situation, the moment. It’s this innate sensibility that makes your photographs so wonderful. Thank you for taking our wedding photographs. We will always be grateful. - David Markham"

"Prisha is not only an incredible photographer, but a beautiful person inside and out who made us feel so at ease during our wedding. She has a wonderful style whereby you don’t even notice that she is there whilst she is capturing beautiful candid pictures. She is proactive and organises which shots she needs in advance (eg family pictures) and makes the whole day run smoothly. She even bustled my dress and fixed my makeup after I cried during the ceremony! It was one of the best decisions I made choosing Prisha as our wedding photographer - I just wish I had another reason to have her come and photograph us again!"

"Prisha has been absolutely brilliant from enquiry to end result! From the moment I enquired she was welcoming, kind and spent time going into details with me. We had our pre shoot and she made us so comfortable in front of the camera and we really loved her calming presence! Then it got to our big day…. WOW!!! Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to her and Alexia (our second photographer) for capturing our wedding day & reception. She was so quick at capturing photos that allowed us more time to enjoy with our guests. Huge thank you for editing those same day edit photos, they looked amazing on the screens in our reception room. And oh my god the edited photos were INSANE!!!! We cannot stop looking at them, the editing is unreal and we will cherish forever. Highly recommend!!! Xx"

“Prisha is an amazing photographer to work with. We have worked together a few times now & I always feel empowered & confident.

Prisha not only has a great eye for a shot, she has this amazing magic about her & a talent for bringing out the magic in others!

This was really amazing to see when she photographed my younger sister. It’s great to feel beautiful within yourself but to see someone you love fall in love with themselves, that’s priceless. Prisha will always be my photographer of choice for any event"
